Pre Construction Project Consultant Full Time

As a Project Consultant, you’ll play a key role in pre-construction planning, business development, and project coordination, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. Role Summary:

• Develop strategies for large commercial finishes opportunities, positioning Bonitz as a top-tier specialty trade commercial contractor.
• Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors, architects, and end users through networking and project engagement.
• Define project scope and requirements by gathering key documents (floor plans, CAD drawings), conducting site visits, and collaborating with our team of Estimators & Project Specialists.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, working with internal teams on contracts, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure project readiness, securing pricing from vendors, aligning labor costs, and overseeing material procurement & delivery logistics.

Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial construction or a related industry.
• Proven ability to drive business and build lasting relationships with General Contractors, architects, designers, and owners.
• Independent & team-driven mindset – You take initiative but thrive in collaboration.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous learning.
• Ability to Travel within the local market. ~20%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Commercial Finishes (Flooring, Ceilings, Drywall, etc.)
• 3+ years in sales or business development (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Office 365 tools
