Accounting Audit Manager Full Time

Brown Plus is seeking an experienced Audit Accounting Manager to join our growing Insurance Practice. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements for insurance clients, ensuring compliance with statutory-based financial accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing insights and solutions to complex industry challenges.
• Oversee the work of junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Stay current with industry developments and regulatory standards, including updates from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
• Contribute to Firm growth by identifying new business opportunities, participating in proposal, and networking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting advanced degree preferred
• Active CPA license
• Minimum of 7 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on insurance clients
• Strong knowledge of statutory-based financial accounting and NAIC regulations
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Seasonal overtime
• Valid Driver’s License or reliable transportation

The pay range for this Manager position is $119,000 to $133,000 and is intended to give candidates an overview of the potential compensation for this role. Actual salary offers may vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: individual qualifications, experience, licensure, skills, geographical location and market conditions.
