What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants in the delivery of resident and patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients and residents.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or temporary permit to practice vocational nursing in Texas.
• Successful completion of hospital and nursing unit orientation requirements.
• Current CPR certification and ability to maintain certification without lapse.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
