About the Role:
At Roswell Park, our mission to end cancer depends on strong financial operations that support patient care, research, and innovation. The Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst plays a key role in that mission.
In this role, you will turn complex healthcare and financial data into clear, meaningful insights that help our teams understand performance, improve processes, and make informed decisions. Your work will directly support revenue cycle and finance leaders as they navigate claims, denials, productivity, and key performance indicators.
What You’ll Do:
– Create accurate and timely reports and dashboards that support revenue cycle and finance operations
– Analyze claims activity, denials, edits, productivity, and performance trends
– Translate data findings into clear insights that help leaders improve financial and operational outcomes
– Partner closely with revenue cycle, finance, payer relations, and IT teams to understand reporting needs
– Build and maintain Power BI reports and visualizations that are easy to use and understand
– Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation
– Contribute to data models and reporting structures within the enterprise data warehouse
– Ensure data accuracy by validating results, reconciling to source systems, and identifying data quality issues
– Support documentation and data governance standards while continuously improving reporting capabilities
What You’ll Bring:
– Experience with healthcare revenue cycle analytics, including claims processing and denial analysis
– Understanding of revenue cycle workflows and financial performance metrics
– Experience working with key performance indicators and trend analysis
– Strong SQL skills and comfort writing moderately complex queries
– Proficiency with Power BI, including building dashboards and reports
– Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
– Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
