Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) Full Time

The C.N.A. performs various non-professional nursing care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of the residents. Under the  supervision and direction of the RN, DON or designee, the C.N.A. functions as part of the interdisciplinary team for the emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual well-being of the resident in accordance with accepted practice standards and policies, procedures and philosophy of the community.  The C.N.A. show respect to all persons in the community and welcomes all associates, volunteers and residents. Consistently demonstrates knowledge of all aspects of the Residents’ Bill of Rights while providing care. Completes all tasks for assigned residents as outlined in the assignment binder or as instructed by a licensed nurse or physician.  Provides care and services to ensure that residents maintain their privacy and dignity at all times.  Responds to residents’ requests for help and ensures that immediate needs are met regardless of assignment.  Consistently works cooperatively with residents, family members, physicians, and other community personnel.  Assists is the orientation of newly hired personnel as directed.

Current NJ CNA certification in good standing.
