Working Calendar: 260 Days/ 8 Hours

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains, repairs, and replaces refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems for the school District
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE JOURNEYMAN, IB/GRADE 11

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent combination of experience and training
Three (3) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
Refrigeration Handling Certification Type I or Type II
Valid Kentucky HVAC Journeyman license
Valid driver’s license
Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNCIAN III, IB/GRADE 9

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Five (5) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
Refrigeration Handling Certification Type I or Type II
Valid driver’s license
Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNCIAN II, IB/GRADE 7High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Three (3) years of experience in commercial heating, air conditioning, and controls
Valid driver’s license
Effective communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNCIAN I, IB/GRADE 5High School Diploma or G.E.D
Valid driver’s license
Effective communication skills
