About the job:
The Senior EFT Representative position will be involved with the daily operations of various cash management services such as ACH origination, wire origination, share draft processing, SEG payroll processing, payroll deductions processing, PFP, and returned deposited items. The Senior EFT Representative will be the point of contact on projects between IT and the department.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Process ACH daily work, ACH origination, wires, share draft daily, SEG payroll processing, payroll deductions processing, PFP, and returned deposited items, ACH Disputes.
Oversee and process the Stop payments, and process Vendor supplement products which include taking advantage of all available tools to automate processes.
Provide process direction to other associates by creating and maintaining the functional specification for each process and product
Responsible for issue resolution within projects and deliver to IT solutions to fit the needs of the department and Credit Union
Monitor the progress of the projects and, inform the team of their progress
Provides the team with support and direction as needed on projects
Conduct work stream-level reviews and analysis to proactively identify required technical tasks/actions, issues, and risks
Facilitate technology and business change management
Administer restrictions on member accounts reported on the system
Assist, investigate, troubleshoot, and respond to the inquiries and request as needed
Maintain industry knowledge of ACH, share draft, and other processes related to Payment Systems, including the NACHA Operating Rules and the Guidelines
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and NCUA regulations and laws.
Ensure sensitive and confidential information is maintained and handled in a tactful and diplomat way
Assist with updates to policies and procedures when changes are made in Federal regulations
Train on and oversight of implemented solutions
Advise of potential legal issues or credit union risk exposure
Respond promptly to department tasks and workflow balance within Synapsys assigned functions.
Fosters all team culture within the department by providing open lines of communication and cooperation between all areas
Cultivates strong working relationships and builds trust among team members
Participate in scheduled regular staff meetings
Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned
Adhere to all regulatory compliance training inclusive of BSA/AML/OFAC and overall BSA/AML/OFAC compliance
Overtime as required.
Travel as required
What you’ll bring:
NACHA Certification
Minimum of five years’ experience working in financial services
Demonstrates ability to communicate written and verbal skills.
Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high-volume environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
