Medical Assistant (Dermatology) R-20496 Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and enhance the patient care experience. In this role, you will provide hands-on patient care while managing accurate medical documentation and essential administrative tasks. You’ll help ensure smooth patient flow, support efficient clinic operations, and serve as a key point of connection between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Starting hourly rate is $23.02 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirements
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting or related field; or,
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time direct patient experience.

NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
