About the Role:

At Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, research drives everything we do. As a Research Technologist, you will support translational cancer research focused on understanding why some head and neck cancers become resistant to treatment. Your work will help advance discoveries that directly inform patient care.

This is a hands-on laboratory role for someone who enjoys learning, collaboration, and contributing to meaningful scientific progress.

What You’ll Do:

– Support laboratory experiments under the guidance of experienced researchers

– Assist with molecular biology techniques, cell-based assays, and preclinical models

– Collect, document, and enter research and clinical data

– Share results and preliminary findings with the research team

– Help maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe, organized workspace

– Collaborate closely with scientists and colleagues across the lab

What You’ll Bring:

– Experience with mammalian cell culture and cancer models

– Hands-on knowledge of techniques such as Western blotting and molecular assays

– Familiarity with transfection or transduction methods

– Experience working with small animal models

– Exposure to flow cytometry and data analysis

– Familiarity with imaging, radiation-based experiments, or GraphPad Prism is a plus

– Curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
