Senior Accountant Full Time

We are hiring a full-time Senior Accountant to take ownership of preparing a variety of reports and providing financial analyses.  The position is located on-site in our Totowa, NJ office and reports to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities would include:

• Our #1 priority – ensuring customer satisfaction, both internally and externally
• Assisting in month-end closing process
• Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assisting with sales tax reporting and compliance
• Maintaining various financial analysis
• Performing cash management duties, including assisting with wire transfers/check requests, deposit reviews, draws, reconciliations and cash projections, monitoring account balances and reconciling bank accounts
• Reviewing accounts payable activities for accuracy, including invoices, contracts and journal entries
• Assisting with annual audit

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field

·         At least four years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment

·         Strong affinity for spreadsheets utilizing advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups and Pivot Tables). Microsoft Power BI experience would be a plus.

·         Familiarity with cost accounting is preferred; public accounting experience is a plus
