Key Objective
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various tasks related to the storage, retrieval, and organization of inventory within the warehouse. The individual in this role will utilize RF scanners to track inventory, assist with product handling, and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment. The Warehouse Associate will contribute to the efficient flow of goods and materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Move product throughout the warehouse, by lifting, carrying, pushing carts, or pulling with a pallet jack.
· Label product for inbound/outbound shipments or special projects.
· Use RF scanners to track and update inventory levels in the warehouse management system (WMS).
· Scan barcodes on products to verify accuracy during receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
· Receive incoming shipments, check them for accuracy, and record quantities using RF scanners.
· Stock products in designated storage areas, ensuring proper organization and clear labeling for easy retrieval.
· Pick orders according to customer specifications or order tickets.
· Accurately pack items into boxes, ensuring correct labeling and proper packaging to avoid damage during shipping.
· Report any discrepancies in received goods or damages to the supervisor.
· Ensure items are stored in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines.
· Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by regularly tidying work areas and aisles.
· Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
· Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor immediately.
· Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and address any issues.
· Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding inventory, shipments, or any problems encountered during daily tasks.
