As an Oncology Nurse Coordinator in our Nursing Professional Development, Practice, and Research department, you will play a key role in guiding patients and their families through every step of their healthcare journey.
Using the nursing process, you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while proactively anticipating patient needs. Serving as the primary clinical contact, you will provide support, education, and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring they feel confident and informed.
In this role, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary and multi-site care, facilitate seamless communication among providers, and organize all necessary education and training for the care team. You will also be responsible for promoting an exceptional patient experience by delivering excellent customer service, managing concerns in a timely manner, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans through ongoing contact between visits.

The starting annual salary for this position is $107,778 which includes a comprehensive benefit package. The listed salary reflects the potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
Certification Requirement
Accepted board certification(s) as recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Demographic Data Collection Tool (DDCT).
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time, hands-on nursing experience within the past five (5) years, including education/preceptor experience.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree, along with prior experience in ambulatory and/or inpatient oncology, as well as nursing education.
