The laboratory of Joseph Longo, Ph.D. in the Department of Immunology is currently seeking to hire a Laboratory Technician. The Longo Lab studies how metabolism and nutritional programming regulate anti-tumor immunity and tumor progression, with the goal of identifying actionable metabolic strategies to treat cancer.
The ideal candidate will be a curious, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced research environment and works well with other lab members and collaborators. The candidate will contribute to ongoing research in the lab and be responsible for lab management, including updating and maintaining IACUC protocols, ordering lab supplies, and coordinating safety and regulatory standards.
The starting annual salary range for this position is $40,413 – $51,716 and this can include full comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
